Youth Drop-in Program

The primary goal of the Youth Program is to create opportunities which will support and assist Urban Aboriginal Youth in enhancing their economic, social, and personal growth

The Youth program is open to youth ages 10—29. The purpose of this program is to offer a variety of events and activities in a safe, drug and alcohol free environment. At the center, teens can socialize, talk to a facilitator or an Elder about what is happening in their lives, and take part in recreational/educational activities. Some other activities include:

  • Employment support
  • Arts and crafts
  • Workshops—educational and traditional
  • Cultural camps
  • Aboriginal Youth Employment and Training Program

Youth & Family Nights happen as follows:
Tuesday: Cultural Night from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Thursday: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Friday: 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm

Some examples of what happens during Family Nights are: volleyball, basketball, floor hockey, arts & crafts, beading, knitting/crocheting, pizza night, burger nights and more!!
