Jessie was born in Ottawa and is an Inuit of North West Territories decent. She has lived in and gone to school in Port Alberni for 8 years. Her long term goal is to get her law degree and work with the First Nations Community. Jessie has been an active participant at the Friendship Center for over a year, involved in youth and community programs. She is currently serving on the Port Alberni Friendship Center Board of Directors and is a Youth Representative from Youth Council.
